Texaco metal frame 15 inch Reproduction Globe. I have also pictured on this page an original Texaco 15 inch globe so you can tell the difference. Note the thin outer black border on the reproduction unlike the recessed or indented black border on the original. Note the thicker black letters too. The green T is much lighter green than the original. The repro inserts are flatter in the center and taper off quickly. Also the red star is not as rich red as on the original. This phony one says "Reg. T.M." and the original says Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. though I don't know if they are all that way.
